REFLEX-POLSKA SP. Z O.O.

Reflex Polska Sp. z o.o. deals with the production and distribution of road safety accessories, including bags for, for example, first-aid kits. The company is developing at a very dynamic pace – it is currently the largest producer of warning triangles in Europe. The products are manufactured in Poland and then distributed to European markets – mainly to Italy (40%), but also to Germany, France, Spain and Portugal. Over the last years, the company has recorded an increase in the number of employees – now it`s 72 people. In 2016, Reflex Polska Sp. z o.o. received the title of Business Gazelle, and in 2017 he obtained ISO 9000 and 14000 certificates.

CHALLENGES

Due to the diversity of the stock and requirements of the automotive industry, the company faced a number of challenges related to business processes. The company’s representatives sought to improve production, sales process and customer service to have full control over them. The important issue was handling receivables and liabilities. The company lacked management accounting, which resulted in the lack of registration of production activities in the system, and thus the lack of actual data on production costs. An important element for the company was also the cost control depending on the type of the assortment being sold, so that it was possible to define which branch of production generates the largest profits (control of employees efficiency).

BENEFITS

The choice of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 was dictated by the scalability and complexity of the system. What’s more, NAV integrates well with Office 365. Another argument in favor of the Microsoft solution was the ability to use the ERP system in the cloud, which guarantees favorable settlement conditions and a fixed monthly fee allows savings in the IT infrastructure. The implemented software allowed the company’s employees to improve process management within the company (production, sales). In addition, the system enabled ongoing control and audit of specific processes, including: cost control, proper and quick identification of the most profitable products and elimination of the most problematic ones.
