Power Apps is a platform that allows applications to be created which seamlessly integrate with the Microsoft ecosystem, along with hundreds of other data sources.

The main advantage of this set of tools is the short time of application development, which significantly reduces costs, compared to applications created in traditional development environments.

Power Apps can connect to business data stored in the Microsoft Dataverse or various other sources such as Microsoft 365, Sharepoint, SQL Server, etc.

Microsoft's Dataverse is a cloud-based data warehouse that is stored in the form of tables. Data from the Dynamics 365 application (including Business Central) is also stored in the Dataverse, hence creating applications that extend functionality is much more efficient than in the case of external sources.

Easy integration with other Microsoft services, such as Excel, OneDrive, Dynamics 365, etc., allows applications to be created that have access to your company data. The functionality of the application is limitless.

A user friendly interface supports the creation of simple applications by people who have no programming experience. Designs can also be shared, and worked on, with others.

Applications created in the wizard will be consistent, aesthetic and user-friendly thanks to the built-in Creator Kit function - a set of ready-made templates and controls that improve the appearance of the application.

Canvas application

The canvas app allows you to create apps by dragging and dropping pre-created elements onto a blank canvas. The operating logic and navigation support are defined by Excel-style expressions.

The data used in the application can be integrated from any number of Microsoft sources and external providers.

Ready-made apps can be used on mobile and desktop devices, and can also be embedded in Teams, Sharepoint or Power BI dashboards.
