If we were to point out one element that dominated the year 2023, it would undoubtedly be artificial intelligence. However, Microsoft does not live by AI alone. We have selected three, in our opinion, most important events of 2023 in the world of Microsoft business applications.
Copilot enters Microsoft applications
To see that the year 2023 belonged to AI-based solutions, it is enough to browse through our blog. Practically every month, we reported on new possibilities offered by AI in Microsoft applications. The AI assistant named Copilot found its way into almost all of the company's business applications - from the Microsoft 365 office suite to Dynamics 365 Business Central. Its capabilities are still being developed, and everything indicates that AI will still be a hot topic in 2024.
New cloud center opened in Poland
This information is very important from a local point of view. In April, the first data processing region in the cloud was opened in Central and Eastern Europe. Located in Poland, Microsoft first made Azure available from it, and then also Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform. As Microsoft representatives say: "thanks to the comprehensive infrastructure of the Poland Central region, we can provide customers with the use of the Microsoft cloud and implement best cloud architecture practices while maintaining data residency in Poland."
The importance of Dynamics 365 products is growing
The rapid development of the Dynamics 365 product family is evidenced by the financial results presented in the middle of the year by Microsoft. In fiscal year 2023, products from this family generated over $5 billion in revenue. Interest in the Power Platform is also growing. As we reported in August, over 63,000 organizations have used AI-supported Power Platform capabilities. The total number of monthly active users of the Power Platform was 10 million - 55% more than in the previous year. This allows us to confidently look to the future of these tools and ensures that Microsoft will continue to heavily invest in their development.
Bonus: Nav24's birthday and Customer Day 2023
The year 2023 was also important for our company. We celebrated our 10th anniversary! The highlight was the first Customer Day in Nav24's history. The October event proved to be a huge success. We prepared a large dose of knowledge for our clients about Microsoft and Nav24 solutions, but of course, there was also room for integration and evening entertainment.
